CROCODILE
This is a crocodile, not an alligator, a
cucumber, or a tomater.
A crocodile won’t put the cart before the horse or change
horses midstream or become president of the United States.
I don’t mean to say that a crocodile shouldn’t be
president,
but it’s evident that being president requires a certain
amount
of order. A crocodile is rarely ever heard from and spends
a lot of time underwater, unlike a president who walks above
ground and is often fodder for broader disorder. A crocodile
will not bite off more than it can chew. |
HIPPOPOTAMUS
Some say a hippopotamus
is dangerous, that it would
eat us. But I say ridiculous,
no need for nervousness,
it’s not so monstrous.
I knew a hippopotamus,
it was never discourteous,
nor did it find me delicious.
